Do I need to book to come and play?

Open play during cafe hours is drop-in, so you can simply turn up. Private play sessions and birthday parties are arranged in advance by phone.

How much is play admission?

Admission is charged per child, with a reduced rate for a second child. The rates the cafe last published are set out below — please confirm the current price when you visit.

Is there parking?

Yes. There is off-street parking available at the cafe.

Can I order ahead?

Call the cafe to arrange an order for pickup.

What is in the playroom?

A climbing structure with a slide, a ball pit, a craft and art area, board games for older children, and a changing table.

What ages is the playroom for?

Visiting families described the playroom as clean, day-lit and well suited to crawlers and toddlers, with the craft and game area working well for preschoolers and elementary school-aged children.

Can I rent the playroom privately?

Yes. Private play rentals have run on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons, in 60, 90 and 120 minute blocks. The rates last published are listed below.

Do you cater for gluten free diets?

Gluten free cooking is where the cafe started. Ask in the cafe for the current gluten free options, or see the menu page.

Can I host a birthday party?

Yes. The basic package is a two hour party for up to 48 people with an onsite facilitator, plus optional add-ons for table settings, decoration, extra time and cake. Full details are on the birthday parties page.

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes, in person at the cafe or online.
